As shared by George Morris in his book, "George H. Morris Teaches Beginners to Ride - A Clinic for Instructors": "If you know what you're doing, all you need is a field and two logs." - Gordon Wright
While out on my first ride with Torrance, I'll never forget her twisting around in her tack after I asked her what it was like to be in the Olympics. After sharing her favorite moments, with one hand on the cantle of her saddle she laughed and said, "How funny is it that I made the Olympics and I don't even have a ring?"
So, ladies, when you're sitting around bitching about what you don't have, just remember, a true horsewoman can get it done anytime, anywhere. This, of course, echos what Gordon Wright said above.
